The Road to Rockberry...
When the Ross Family discovered the 100-acre Poteet farm and historic Rock House homestead just South of San Antonio, big dreams ensued. After many prayers, family meetings, and a visit to the annual Poteet Strawberry Festival, they fell in love and jumped in with both feet. They dreamed of a place brimming with berries and bluebonnets, full of adventure and wide-open spaces, a place that the family could build together and share with others who also wanted to step away, disconnect, and come to the country to play. Inspired by the passion and purpose of the Poteet Strawberry growers they met, they hand planted 13,000 strawberry plants and 1,600 blackberry plants and began their adventure of preparing the farm to receive guests. They called this little slice of sandy loam, Rockberry Ranch, in honor of the historic and beautifully restored 100 year-old Rock House on the property, and the famously sweet Poteet Strawberries they dreamed of harvesting. Their love of God and Family continues to guide them as they care for their land and the animals they steward. The farm is a labor of love, growing and evolving with each day. After many hours of hard work, they are ready to share a Texas Fun Farm Adventure with the San Antonio area. They welcome guests with open arms and hope all will enjoy their time at Rockberry Ranch.

Spring and Fall
Springtime at Rockberry Ranch is like no other. The newly-planted Lavender Farm is sure to take your breath away with its sweet fragrance and picturesque scenery. With custom murals, farm art, and stunning photo opportunities at every turn, Rockberry Ranch is a photographer's dream come true. And if you're lucky, you might catch some live music under the oak trees on the weekends.
Take a stroll through the Rockberry Ranch Barnyard and Petting Corral to meet and make friends with our furry friends, like llamas, sheep, and goats. Visit the baby barn to see the latest additions to the herd, and then get ready for some real fun! Climb aboard the Bee Train, explore the Hay Bale Art Trail, and enjoy the custom playscapes, giant strawberry jumping pillow, and Rope a Steer.
When you need a break, grab a bite to eat or a drink at Rock House Draw. Choose from frozen strawberry lemonade, or a local craft beer or wine. Snap a selfie in front of the custom murals or beside the seasonal flower fields and farm displays, and don't forget to visit with the Easter Bunny during Easter Celebration Weekends. As Strawberry Season fades away, the sweet and juicy Blackberries take center stage. The U-Pick Blackberry Orchard opens in May, complete with flower gardens, blackberry lemonade, and even more farm adventures.
In the fall, Rockberry Ranch transforms into the ultimate Pumpkin Town, with a pumpkin patch, apple cannons, and an explosion in all things orange.
